The Sequoia Fund (SEQUX) Information Page

UPDATE: The Sequoia Fund (SEQUX) re-opened on May 1st 2008!
The Sequoia Fund now has a web site at URL:  http://www.sequoiafund.com

This Sequoia Fund web page was originally developed in 1997 during the period that the mutual fund was closed to the public for:

Greg Stehler

1984 Pondview Circle
Uniontown, Ohio 44685
330.699.3018

At the time, there was little information about the Sequoia Fund on-line, so our idea was to research the closed fund and publish as much as we could. The goal was to solicit someone who owned a share that would be willing to transfer one to Greg for a reasonable fee.

Our Sequoia Fund web page was discovered by a Wall Street Journal Reporter who published a story on the front page of the Money section Friday, 17 December 1999 and the following day our client Greg made arrangements to obtain his first share within the fund.

That Christmas Greg transferred a share of the Sequoia Fund to the President of config.com, Inc. Joe Rinehart as a token of thanks!

Greg and Joe transferred shares periodically to others that were wanting in the fund, until May of 2008 when the Sequoia Fund re-opened to the public, a couple months after Joe put the share transfer opportunity in his personal shopping cart for a $500 "inconvenience" fee for dealing with the "signature guarantor" required transfer document.

We decided to leave this Sequoia Fund page for historical reasons and any further questions should be directed to either Greg or Joe Rinehart at http://www.JoeRinehart.com

Best 'net regards,

Joe Rinehart, President
